Product Description
Conforming to British Standard BS EN14353:2007+A1:2010 and made from galvanised steel, drylining beads enable plasterers to achieve precise, straight edges in drylining projects while providing a strong key for thin coat (skim) plastering. They are easy to install and offer excellent resistance to cracking, chipping, and impact damage on corners and edges.
They are used for plaster skimming on plasterboard lined walls or overskim of existing plastered walls at a plaster depth of 2/3mm. They feature nail holes for quick and easy installation with drywall nails. Alternatively, the bead can be fixed using a suitable adhesive or plaster dabs, spaced no more than 600mm apart. The scalloped edge ensures a strong plaster key. Designed for internal use only, the beads can be cut to the required size using tin snips or a hacksaw. The perforated wings help create a secure key to minimize cracking.
