With branches located throughout the North West of England, Firwood Timber & Plywood Company Ltd provides a reliable local delivery service to trade professionals, DIY customers and businesses across the region.
Delivery is FREE on all orders over £100 + VAT (£120 inc. VAT). For orders under £100 + VAT, we can still deliver for a flat-rate delivery charge of just £10 + VAT (£12 inc. VAT), subject to your delivery postcode.
We deliver a wide range of timber, building materials and landscaping products directly to your home, site or business, including timber and sheet materials, bricks and blocks, cement and mortar, plasterboard, insulation, aggregates, paving - including porcelain and sandstone, fencing, decking, drainage products and more.

Local Delivery from Firwood
Wherever possible, orders are supplied through our North West branch network, helping us provide a reliable and competitive local delivery service on everything from a single bulk bag or pack of timber to larger orders of building materials.
We endeavour to provide the shortest lead time possible for our customers and can often deliver within 1 to 3 working days, subject to stock availability and delivery schedules.
During peak trading periods, our lead times may extend beyond one working week due to the volume of orders being placed. Where possible, we may use an alternative delivery service to reduce waiting times. When an alternative delivery service is available and the goods are in stock, delivery will usually take up to 5 working days.
Arranging Your Delivery
When placing an order with us online, you will receive an order confirmation. One of our trained staff members will then contact you using the telephone number provided to confirm your delivery address and arrange a suitable delivery date.
In the event that your agreed delivery date needs to change, we will always endeavour to inform you as quickly as possible.
All Firwood deliveries are kerbside delivery. Please ensure there is suitable access for our delivery vehicle at the delivery address.

- We provide kerbside delivery only and to persons aged 18 or over. Drivers will deliver goods to the kerbside of the customer’s property and will not carry items into the property or beyond the kerbside.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to adhere to scheduled delivery times but cannot guarantee exact times.
- We shall not be liable for any shortages in quantity delivered unless you notify us in writing within 24 hours of delivery. In any event, our liability is limited to making up the shortfall or, at our discretion, issuing a credit note or refund at the pro rata contract rate against any invoice raised for the goods.
- We may deliver the goods in separate instalments. Each instalment shall be considered a separate contract, and the cancellation or termination of one instalment shall not entitle you to cancel any other instalment.
- Any delivery-related queries must be raised as soon as possible and, in any event, within twenty-eight days from the expected delivery date. Otherwise, the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered in accordance with the contract.
- We shall not be held responsible for collecting or disposing of any non-chargeable packaging or pallets.
