Designed to create a neat drip lower edge on external render, our plaster and render beads conform to BS EN13658-2:2005 standards. They are easily fixed using mortar dabs, grab adhesive, or galvanised nails/screws with washers at maximum 600mm intervals. The 53mm mesh wings provide excellent resistance to cracking while ensuring a strong bond with plaster or render.

While suitable for external use, we recommend opting for stainless steel or PVC-U beads in the UK, particularly in exposed or high-rainfall areas. This product is best suited for sheltered environments.

Lightweight yet sturdy, these beads can be cut to size using tin snips or a hacksaw. The expanded metal wings feature a large diamond pattern, offering a secure key to minimize cracking. To achieve the best finish, take care to avoid damage to the bead and coating when troweling.
