Product Description

Priming Slurry is a high-performance, polymer-modified cementitious bonding slurry designed to create a strong and reliable bond between paving units, bedding mortars, and supporting bases. It is an essential component for professional paving installations, helping to improve adhesion and reduce the risk of paving movement over time.

Suitable for use with a wide range of paving materials, including natural stone, concrete, and porcelain paving, this easy-to-use slurry ensures maximum contact between the paving slab and bedding layer, providing a durable and long-lasting installation.

The slurry is quick to prepare and apply, delivering a consistent mix that eliminates the variability often associated with traditional site-mixed bonding methods. Its enhanced adhesive properties help improve the overall strength and performance of paved surfaces, making it ideal for patios, pathways, terraces, and landscaping projects.

Key Features:

Before application, ensure the supporting base is stable, clean, and free from dust, dirt, grease, or loose material. The base should be thoroughly pre-soaked, with any standing water removed.

Mix one 20kg bag of Priming Slurry with 5.0–5.4 litres of clean water for approximately 3–4 minutes until a smooth, workable consistency is achieved. Apply a 1–2mm coating to the prepared base and to the underside of pre-soaked paving units before laying onto the bedding mortar.

Key Features:

  • Improves bond strength between paving and bedding mortar
  • Helps prevent slab movement and future failures
  • Eliminates inconsistencies associated with site-mixed materials
  • Easy and convenient to use
  • Reduces material wastage
  • Suitable for professional and domestic paving projects
  • Provides long-lasting installation performance

Key Features:

  • Product Type: Polymer-modified cementitious priming slurry
  • Coverage: Varies depending on application thickness and paving size
  • Recommended Application Thickness: 1–2mm
  • Mixing Water: 5.0–5.4 litres per 20kg bag
  • Application Temperature: +5°C to +30°C

For strong, reliable paving installations, Priming Slurry provides the essential bond needed to achieve professional, long-lasting results.
