Product Description
A cellular block contains one or more formed voids that do not fully go through the block. This differs from a hollow block which contain voids which pass through the block from top to bottom. The benefits of using cellular blocks include their superior insulation properties, which can significantly reduce energy costs. Additionally, their lighter weight design makes them easy to handle and install, reducing construction time and costs. Typical uses include internal partitions, as infills in framed structures, and as inner leaves of cavity walls. The cellular blocks can be used below the damp proof course both internally and externally. They can also be used to construct a sound-separating wall, providing acoustic test evidence has been carried out.
