Our traditional brown rock salt is sourced from the salt mines of Winsford and meets BS3247 standards for highway de-icing. Unlike some alternatives, this pure rock salt is not mixed with grit or sand, ensuring effective ice and snow thawing.
Ideal for driveways, car parks, and pedestrian areas, it helps reduce winter hazards by quickly melting ice and improving traction. This is the more cost-effective option between our two rock salt types. If you prefer less residue, our White Rock Salt may be a better choice.
