Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and correctly prepared before application. Existing roof coverings should be assessed for compatibility and suitability before an overlay system is installed.

For standard installation, the manufacturer's guidance specifies dry conditions and ambient temperatures generally between 5°C and 30°C. Lower-temperature installation may be possible using the appropriate manufacturer-approved accelerator and procedures.

Typical curing times are approximately 30-60 minutes per coat under suitable conditions. Actual curing will vary according to temperature, application conditions and system specification. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding recoating and return to service.

Important: The supplied application manual and current Restec technical guidance should be followed to ensure correct substrate preparation, priming, reinforcement and resin application.

Fire Performance

FLEXITEC roofing systems can achieve BROOF(t4) and BROOF(t1) fire classifications when installed as part of an appropriately specified and tested roof construction.
